Please double check the
requirement from the power adapter you wish to replace. Most electronic device
also have labels indicating the specification for the power adapter it
requires. To purchase the right adapter, you must be sure of the following:
1. Output Voltage - needs to be the same as specified. Ok if 0.5 volt off but
not recommended. (e.g, if you need 13.4 volt, 13 volt will work as well)
2. Sufficient amp - if your electronic device indicates 2 amp, than anything greater than 2 amp will
provide sufficient power and work for your equipment
3. Polarity - must be the same. In the list below (+) indicates positive
polarity, and (-) indicates negative polarity
4. Connector - The hardest part is to determine the right connector size as
there are many types out there. Please
check and make sure you get the right connector. We also have
converting plugs that
will connect to 2.1mm x 5.5 mm connector of the adapter and output to other
type of connector. So if you find an adapter with the
right volts and amp output, but simply need to have different connector,
than simply get the ones with 2.1mm x 5.5mm connector and buy additional
converting plugs.
Please see How to Pick the Right AC to DC
Power Adapter for more detail.
